Seminar

Students have to prepare a seminar report under the guidance of guide allotted in line with the guidelines issued and in strictly complying the formats specified. The presentation of the same will begin in the second week of the seventh semester. A presentation need to be prepared in consultation with the guide for the same.

Students have to avoid the seminar topics of previous batches. Click here for the list of topics of earlier batches. Seminar reports are available in the Department library for your reference.

Students have to approach faculty of their choice, submit abstract of the topics they want to take seminar on and get the topic approved by guide. You can request for the topic here. Only on-line submission of request for topics is permitted. Please click here to see the requests already made. Seminar topics will be allotted on first come first serve basis.

Seminar presentation will commence on 12/08/2019. Students have to present seminar as per schedule. schedule and assigned guides will be published in the first week itself.

The seminar report has to be prepared in LATEX using the formats specified in the download link. The format is common for all reports like project and seminar. Necessary changes have to be made in title page, certificate and acknowledgement to make it suitable for the purpose.

Three copies report of the seminar has to be submitted within a period of 5 working days from the date of presentation. The seminar report is to be soft bound on white colour cover with black colour letters. The content of cover will be same as that of the title page.

The seminar report is to be uploaded in the Seminar documents uploading link in PDF format, before submission of hard copy of reports, for archiving.

The last date for completing course/exam registration from the student login is 20th for B.Tech S2 and 22nd for B.Tech S4.

B.Tech S2&S4 Course/Exam Registration

B.Tech S2 Course/Exam Registration is now open in the KTU e-Gov Portal. Students can click on Course/Semester Exam Registration to choose the courses and submit. For the students, last date is 20 March. 

Colleges can make the necessary changes and do the final submission and fee payment. For the college submission, last date is 22 March.

Registration for B.Tech S4 will be open by Thursday.

It is to inform that due to receipt  of number of representation from students, AICTE has decided to re open the Web Portal to apply under Saksham Scholarship Scheme ( Batch 2016-17 1st year ) till 24.03.2017.

EXCERPTS FROM RULES AND REGULATIONS OF THE COLLEGE

  • Students are expected to maintain the highest standards of discipline and dignified manner of behavior inside as well as outside the College campus. They shall abide by the rules and regulations of the College and should act in a way that highlights the discipline and esteem of the College. 
  • The Principal is the ultimate disciplinary authority in the college.
  • All the students are expected to be present in the class well within time.
    No student shall enter or leave the class room when the session is on without the permission of the teacher concerned.
  • All leave applications (Regular & Medical) shall be submitted within a week. Application for medical leave shall be accompanied by valid medical certificates.
  • Students shall come to the college in approved uniform on all days including all functions of the college unless specified otherwise.
  • All the students shall wear their identity cards, well displayed and produce the same before college officials as and when warranted.
  • It is strongly advised to refrain from activities such as scribbling or noting on walls, door or furniture which could deface the college and destroy the academic ambiance.
  • Vandalism and destruction of college property will be severely dealt with and material loss will be fully recovered with fine. Any destruction to public property is a non-bailable offence under Prevention of Damage to Public Property (PDPP) Act.
  • As per the Govt. order No.346/05/ Higher Edn. dt.1-3-2005 students are not allowed to use mobile phone in the campus and bring their vehicles to the restricted areas of the college. Any violation will be dealt with the provisions of the said order, subsequent government orders and directions of Hon’ble High court of Kerala.
  • Students will be allowed to bring their vehicles only up to the designated parking area. Entry beyond that point is strictly restricted.
  • No celebration shall be arranged in the class rooms or any other part of the campus without the prior written permission of the Principal
  • Bike race / motor car race / elephant procession or similar activities shall not be permitted inside the campus.
  • Smoking, consumption of alcoholic beverages and use of narcotic drugs are strictly prohibited. Criminal proceedings will be taken against those found under the influence of alcohol or narcotic drugs within the campus.
